Tokyo based dj/producer Powder has released her track ‘New Tribe’. The track features a Manga video by Japanese animation studio AC-bu. The studio created a quite absurd and chaotic story about breaking free from the dreary 9-to-5 office life.

Moko Shibata, who makes music as Powder, lives her own version of this dual existence as an office worker at day time and a dj at night. Making music could be Shibata’s way to exorcize her daily demons from a bland office building where salary men and women sacrifice their days to the electronics industry.

Powder’s track ‘New Tribe’ is part of her mix album ‘Powder In Space’ which you can listen and order on Bandcamp.
